Don't Panic! - An Approach to Incident Response Training
In today’s world, service downtime has a significant impact on any business. Being able to respond quickly and proactively to issues can dramatically reduce the repercussions of any incident, both financial and reputation wise. We’ll take lessons learned from formalised incident response, such as those used by first responders, and show you how to apply those same practices to your organisation. By utilising these methods you’ll improve both the speed and effectiveness of your team’s response, reducing the amount of downtime experienced.
19:40 We’ll also be joined by an all-star panel to discuss what makes a good incident responder and how to build a culture focused on uptime.
- Marilyn Kruger - Service Delivery Manager at IG (Compere)
- Luke Elliot - Director of Engineering at OakNorth Bank
- Steven Ramey - SRE Engineer at Citadel Securities
- Mandy Tucker - Head of Service Management at PwC
8:30pm - Networking, food and drinks
