Welcome to Open Circle's Bay Area Non-duality Meetup Group.
Events in this group are organised by Open Circle, a not-for-profit with a grand vision of a world grounded in truth and love.
Our mission is to connect a growing worldwide awakening community with a diversity of spiritual teachers for the experiential exploration of non-dual truth and love.
To this end, we host a variety of teachers online and in person.

Dorothy Hunt ~ Honoring the Life and Teachings of Ramana Maharshi ~ Retreat Day
Community Congregational Church, 145 Rock Hill Drive, Tiburon, CA, US“There is no greater mystery than this—that being the Reality ourselves, we seek to gain Reality.”
Ramana Maharshi has been a light shining in the darkness for countless seekers of Truth. In this silent retreat day honoring his life and teachings, we will also consider ways that his method of Self-Inquiry has been misunderstood, and ways in which some seekers make “Silence” an object rather than realizing its continual presence in everyday life. Included in this day will be video clips of his life and darshan.
For Ramana, “All that is required to realize the Self is to be still.” Can we be still long enough to notice what is here when we stop trying to get “there?”We will have a 1-hour break for lunch and afternoon tea. Apart from satsang, the retreat will be held in silence.
Dorothy Hunt, Spiritual Director of Moon Mountain Sangha will facilitate this retreat day. She is a teacher in the spiritual lineage of Adyashanti and was the founder of the San Francisco Center for Meditation and Psychotherapy. Dorothy has a long and deep connection with the teachings of Ramana Maharshi and offers this day to any who are interested in coming to sit in silence and listen with the Heart.
