Civic Hack Night

Details
Hack Night is a chance to work on civic tech projects collaboratively.
At the beginning of the meetup we'll introduce the projects, then split into groups (for each project) to work on them.
Bring a project, an idea, or willingness to jump in on one. Many projects will involve tech, but all abilities and skills are welcome... graphic design, project management, writing, community engagement, software development, or just some cleverness, communication skills and determination to make a positive impact on our region.
Current projects are:
• Summit County Parks & Trails App (http://trails.hackneo.org/) (forked from Cleveland Metroparks map app, kicked-off at HackNEO (http://hackneo.org/) and in collaboration with Code for Summit County (https://www.meetup.com/Code-for-Summit-County/))
• NPMap (http://www.nps.gov/npmap/) (Getting CVNP (http://www.nps.gov/cuva/index.htm) data into OpenStreetMap (http://www.openstreetmap.org/))
• Setting up an OpenTreeMap (http://www.azavea.com/products/opentreemap/) instance
• Building an Open Data Catalog for Cleveland / Cuyahoga County, (beginnings at dkan.opencleveland.org (http://dkan.opencleveland.org/).)
• Set up a CartoDB (http://cartodb.com/) + Mapbox (http://www.mapbox.com/) server for group use.
Other ideas from the last meetup included local bicycling infrastructure mapping/assessment, and a public toilet map/finder.
We're meeting on opposite Wednesdays as Code for Summit County (https://www.meetup.com/Code-for-Summit-County/), (Akron's Code for America Brigade (http://brigade.codeforamerica.org/),) to promote collaboration and cross-pollination.
