Details
📣 The Open Data Leaders Meetups are back! As we celebrate the global Open Data Week, we are thrilled to reintroduce a space dedicated to in-person discussion of all things open data in the Washington, DC area. Mark your calendars for March 6, as we open the doors of the Open Gov Hub to host you all for a ‘Meet and Greet with Happy Hour’, heralding the revival of in-person meetups.
This event will unite a diverse array of individuals eager to delve into the realms of open data for social good. Join us to explore the most pressing gaps and challenges within the open data landscape, discover innovative solutions employed by fellow enthusiasts, and envision the future trajectory of our regular meetups. Our objective is to cultivate a dynamic and transparent discourse among data providers, civic technologists, think tanks, nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies passionate about the use of open data for better policies.
Attendees will have the opportunity to forge connections, gain insights into new open data projects, engage in constructive dialogue around open data gaps and solutions, and extend support and outreach for a variety of these initiatives. Open Data Leaders is committed to curating specially tailored meetups, and we extend an invitation to collaborate and contribute ideas for future events. Together, let us harness the power of open data for public good!
