About us
Welcome to OpenInfra Cairo!
The OpenInfra Cairo meetup is an official local chapter that shares knowledge and fosters collaboration on open infrastructure technologies.
Our mission is to provide an open, vendor-neutral space for engineers, IT professionals, and enthusiasts in Cairo to explore technologies supported by the OpenInfra Foundation (OpenStack, Kata Containers, StarlingX, etc.) alongside complementary cloud-native tools like Kubernetes, Ceph, and Terraform.
Topics covered include:
Private, Hybrid, and Edge Cloud architectures
Cloud native infrastructure & container runtimes
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & CI/CD automation
Production lessons, scalability, and security best practices
Join us for monthly meetups, technical discussions, and community networking.
