Deborah Mannas brings you a snazzy jazzy evening from her home to yours in the time of live-music-lockdown.
Deborah Mannas has been singing and songwriting since the days of her youth and is a prolific poet. In 2018 she decided the time was right to move ahead on her solo projects. So, since then, with AgnesQ as her musical director, she has produced two albums: Deborah - Inspired, and Deborah – Magician; and will be releasing singles through 2020. Her music is available for streaming or download on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, youtube, Amazon and CDBaby. Her new music is being published and distributed by Bentley Records.
Deborah’s purpose is to take her listeners back to a time when each track on an album was different, engaging, and yet distinctly reflective of the artist. Like her mixed heritage, she delivers a versatile mix of sounds, from, jazz, soul, funk, pop and rock. As a lyricist and composer, Deborah captures the human condition profoundly, with her distinct vocals, lyrics and lushly nuanced musical arrangements.
Deborah has been performing in Hong Kong for years, at both private and public events, at iconic venues such as the Fringe Club, Asia Society and FCC. She has been featured on RTHKTV, “The Works”, RTHK Morning Brew, HK Confidential podcast, Life on Lantau, HKEJ, CGTN, to name a few. Because of the COVID situation, Deborah has been streaming live to diverse audiences across the globe, to great reviews.
