What we’re about

I will be creating a space for guided personal research by sharing some new and old practices, and I would love to share this process with you.

After setting a personal intention for the class from a prompt I offer, I will share embodiment practices, and sometimes pilates-type exercises, to deepen the ability to listen to our bodies and deepen our connection to our somatic self. This is an opportunity to feel more in touch with yourself and spend focused time on your own body and its needs and expressions.

I will offer therapeutic art practices as well, that I am learning about in art therapy school, to help with expression and integration of the creative self. These will be very accessible, and there will be no need to be "good" at art!

There will be time for self reflection and sharing with the group (if that feels right), or writing for yourself if you prefer. I will offer a text or piece of music to aid in this reflection.

Unlike a private session, the energy of a group can buoy and support us. Unlike a pure pilates class there will be even more listening to our bodies and creative tools to deepen connection to self.
