What we’re about
To my mind the philosophy has reached a firm conclusion. If it is true that the mathematical laws of physics are responsible for me claiming to be conscious, then my consciousness is not doing anything, not talking about itself, but nevertheless it does and it did. I am an agent of change that is not identical to the mathematical laws of physics, for I can move my arm, but not Jupiter.
For those in the know, mind, as opposed to the brain is a subject we know astonishingly little about, almost bizarrely so.
The aim of the group is to find and replicate the most promising psi experiments investigating the effect of mind over matter. We will go where professionals literally fear to tread. We will lead the way for others. While we are amateurs be definition, unless some pros join us, we will be aiming for high scientific standards, openness and honesty with the wider community. We are going to do real, open, scientific research into psi (paranormal) phenomenon and we're going to share that journey with the world.
