SPACE IS LIMITED! We've had a few request to run this workshop again. There are a number of new Meetup members. Here is your chance.

If you RSVP but find you can't make it please change your status ASAP so others can join.

A long time ago in a laboratory far, far away ....

.... the Restriction Enzyme was discovered. These enzymes cuts DNA at specific recognition sequences and are the basic tools for the laboratory manipulation of DNA. This hands on Workshop will teach you how to work with Restriction Enzyme and enzymes. Come learn how to cut plasmid DNA and visualize that through gel electrophoresis. What is a Pipette? What is a DNA ladder, eh? Well come and learn.

This is another repeat of the first of a series of Workshops on Recombinant DNA technology that we are preparing. All materials and equipment will be supplied. No experience is necessary, just a keen interest. We plan to repeat this workshop many times so if you can't make it or miss out on the RSVP limit don't worry - 'cause we will be back. We hope to have our online system up and running but we didn't wanna delay the workshop so for this event please pay at the door. All proceeds go towards building Open Science Network, a non-profit society.

The earlier workshops were great successes. We learned a lot and each time it gets even better.
