Figure Drawing Class: Aimee Model

In this figure drawing class you will learn the following:

• Expressive gesture drawing
• Measuring techniques (proportions)
• Shading techniques

We will work with charcoal on toned paper. Supplies:

• Vine charcoal sticks
• Compressed charcoal pencils
• Newsprint
• Charcoal paper (with a tooth)
• Toned Pastel paper (Canson Mitientes)

We will work with Aimee, a muscular and dynamic model. The poses will be quick at the beginning and then we will evolve into longer ones. The longest pose will be about an hour long.
