Pie & AI is a series of deeplearning.ai meetups independently hosted by community groups. This event is hosted by Lekki Data Science Meetup. Special thanks to their support!

This June meetup promises to be very exciting. Our main event would be a Q&A with Robert John, Nigeria's foremost Google ML Expert. He would be answering questions participants have on Machine learning-from fundamentals to advanced questions especially with deploying ML projects for practitioners.

We would also be having a special feature - the Python@Home Challenge. This was a challenge in partnership with The Technidus_ng [https://www.linkedin.com/in/the-technidus-ng-42bb01176/] (A social Impact platform focused on Technology. Technidus empowers young individuals and connect them with relevant opportunities). Topmost participants in this challenge would be sharing their experience in implementing and deploying the AI solution they built for the challenge.

This Meetup is particularly special because we would also be having participants from the Northeastern part of Nigeria at the event. This has been facilitated by the North East Humanitarian Innovation Hub [https://www.northeasthub.org/].

If you are new to AI and would like to get the best from this June's meetup you may wish to consider taking the Coursera AI for Everyone class (https://www.coursera.org/learn/ai-for-everyone) if you are yet to do so.
