What we’re about
This group is for anyone interested in open source software and hardware. We aim to encourage self-hosting of services to contribute to a better, more decentralised Internet.
We plan to run regular meetups to discuss all aspects of open source from modern federated services and approaches to open standards for communication.
We also aim to run regular informal sessions to teach basic server administration, command line usage, hosting basic services web servers as well as Mastodon or PeerTube and showcase some of the latest developments in open source.

See all- Intro to 3D printingThe Gamer Club, Glasgow
Join us for an introduction to 3D printing.
We'll show you how to take a 3D model, prepare it for printing (slicing) and how to send the resulting file to the printer.
You'll have the chance to print some models to see the printers in action and have any questions you might have answered.
Hosted in The Gamer Club, it's equipped with the flagships Creality K1C 3D printer - an excellent printer that auto calibrates and makes 3D printing accessible to beginners.
There is free tea and coffee in the venue (or you are welcome to bring your own drinks/snacks). There is no cost to the event, all welcome!
As always, remember to join our Matrix chatrooms to get to know people before the event, or if you have any specific questions you'd like to ask, that's the place! Invite link: https://glasgow.social/matrix
