Details

Join us for an informal Intro to Blender Night!

Whether you're a total beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this is the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of 3D modeling. We'll guide you through the basics of Blender, teaching you how to create 3D models for both 3D printing and game development.

Bring your curiosity and creativity, and get ready for a fun, hands-on evening exploring the possibilities of 3D design! No prior experience required.

As always, you can join our open source room on Matrix (#opensource:glasgow.social), the invite link is https://glasgow.social/matrix

The event is free (though there is a donation tin that goes towards venue costs) and there is free tea and coffee - you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks too.

We'll be hosted by The Gamer Club which is in town, just off Bath Lane, see here for directions: https://www.thegamerclub.co.uk/gettinghere

Remember to bring a laptop to get the most out of this session (and preferably install blender before you arrive - but we'll help out on the night too).
