We are excited to invite you to our next Open Source Meetup this September! This time, we'll be exploring the fascinating world of testing, featuring two insightful talks.

First, we’ll delve into the role of AI in testing, discussing not only its current principles and future potential but also the pitfalls you need to be aware of.

Key questions our AI expert will address:

• Is AI the game-changer that quality assurance (QA) needs?
• How can AI help automate the tedious task of generating test cases?
• What challenges and risks should testers and developers be mindful of as AI continues to evolve?

With almost 15 years in frontend engineering, Julia brings a wealth of experience from working for large companies. As a Teamlead at publicplan, she’s passionate about integrating new technologies to her team and fostering continuous learning. She will share how AI can improve testing from a frontend perspective, especially within an open-source framework.

As a Teamlead of Backend development at publicplan, Roland brings over 13 years of experience in web development. Quality assurance and testing have always been crucial aspects of the software development process for him. Drawing on his experience in testing various levels of software, Roland will present strategies for avoiding fragile and flaky tests. By implementing these strategies, you can increase confidence in the software you develop.
