This class explores the basic isolations, shimmies, and foot patters of belly dance. It is open to all levels, from the experienced performer to the first time beginner. Belly dance is a fun way to tone your body, develop your core safely, use muscles that we don't normally use in daily life, and make new friends, all while listening to great music!
Sohara has been dancing in the community and performing for years.
She has studied dance in Turkey and placed both internationally and nationally in dance competitions. She is looking forward to meeting everyone in class!
In the spirit of inclusiveness, good karma, and community, these classes are 'on donation' with a suggested donation of $15-20 per class.
