Operational Technology and Critical Infrastructure Systems Security

Critical technology is becoming more connected than ever. In doing so, risks of exploitation to critical infrastructure and operational technology increase. This talk will cover different security risks and exploitation techniques that affect operational technology and defensive strategies.

Speaker Bio: Marcus is the President of Somerset Recon and over his career has worked on a variety of hardware and software security assessments. He holds a masters degree in computer science with an emphasis on SCADA security. In his free time he enjoys reverse engineering, lock picking, web hacking, capture the flag competitions and helping out with the OWASP SD chapter. He has spoken at a variety of security conferences including RSA conference, Toorcon San Diego, BSides SD, Left of Boom and LayerOne.
