The Open Data Meetup Group supports this event:
Do you have a passion for open data and a heart for sustainability?
Then participating in the Apps for Energy hackathon may be something for you! Coders, designers, energy experts and open data scientists are joining forces to transform innovative ideas into hacks for sustainable energy and energy savings. This using open data.
What to expect:
• A 45-hour long hackathon: from Friday night 11 July until Sunday afternoon 13 July
• The energy and enthusiasm that is created during a hackathon and by working on your idea in a team is an amazing experience
• 6.000 euro in prize money
• A great venue at start-up accelerator UtrechtInc
• Excellent meals, food and snacks during the entire weekend
• Inspiring speakers, mentors and coaches about open data and professional judges
• Some small surprises for the participants we will keep a secret for now :)
Tickets:
The price of a ticket is 15 euro. But this will be REFUNDED: we decided to refund the money upon attendance at the event. The ticket price was and is meant to make sure that people show up and not to cover the costs (which are much higher).
