We're kicking off new short film projects!

Details
Hello filmmakers, we welcome you to our next in-person filmmaking Meetup!
On Sunday the 13th of July, we will meet again at Lebowski - a cozy bar in the shadow of the Dom Tower in the heart of Utrecht.
This afternoon, we'll focus on the production of new & original shorts. Writers / writer-directors are invited to bring their idea for a short (max. 5 min.) film, in the form of a logline or premise and pitch it to the attendees. This will allow other writers to "work on the foundations before the house is built." We are specifically looking for ideas set in a single, specific location, and this should be a location you either already have access to or can arrange access to.
Ideally, keep it simple.. make a short that can be shot a single day at a single location (indoor or outdoor) and post-production can also be completed shortly thereafter. We will also bring some original ideas to the meeting to help facilitate the creative process (if needed : ) However, we are not in a position to produce the shorts ourselves but merely aim to facilitate the creative process!
Of course.. actors, directors.. filmmaking enthusiasts of all sorts are welcome to join and contribute to any and all ideas.
In a follow-up Meetup, teams will be formed, consisting of the typically required cast and crew members, who will then commit to getting their productions underway. The completed shorts will be screened for all participants at a venue to be confirmed; we will provide the details as soon as they are finalized. Of course the primary investment will be your time & energy, but some limited costs may be unavoidable.
If you want to exchange ideas before the Meetup, please do so on our Discord channel. The link can be found on our web page: www.openfilmmakingnetwork.nl
Bring your ideas, skills and creative self to this meeting & see you then!
PS: Please update your RSVP so we'll know who to expect!
PPS: This is not a sponsored event, so please order and pay for your drinks at the bar.
