Virtual: Community Action Night

Details

What is Open Fresno?
We are an all volunteer, fiscally sponsored nonprofit working to put civic oriented, open source technologies to work, in service of the local communities in the Greater Sacramento area. We truly believe that the government can work, for the people, by the people, in the digital age if we all help.

So, come join us and get involved in civic innovation!

What are we doing?
In this meeting you'll be able to learn about our partner Code for Sacramento, our respective core teams, collection of active projects and how to join a project team.

Who should come?

  • New members welcome! We'd love to have both people who have been with us before AND new people. If you would like to join please fill out our new member form, along with attending this meeting.
  • Many roles are needed. We want people from many different roles/backgrounds: developers, designers, user researchers, product managers, communications professionals, and other roles.
  • Wide experience range wanted. We want people who are more experienced AND less experienced. We often have a range of skill levels at our events.
  • Leaders, Activists, Innovators. Anyone with an idea on how to improve our Greater Sacramento area community is more than welcome to pitch it to us during this time or by submitting our project pitch form.
