OpenStack 101!!!

We have two GREAT topics lined up for our June session.

Are you new to OpenStack? Are you looking to get a quick introduction to OpenStack and how it operates - then our June session is a do not miss event! Mirantis will do a walk thru of OpenStack for those with little to no experience with OpenStack. Join us if you want to understand the purpose of OpenStack and its ecosystem, as well as if you want to learn more about the OpenStack architecture.

Our lead presenter is Devin Parrish, Technical Instructor at Mirantis. After completing studies in Computer Science, Devin began his professional career as a Systems Engineer automating, deploying, and maintaining Linux and Unix systems. Devin has comprehensive OpenStack experience that includes deployment and configuration, cloud operation, and troubleshooting.

In our 2nd topic in June, Sanjay Mishra of local Austin startup Talligent will discuss OpenBook and how it has been built specifically for shared multi-tenant VMware and OpenStack environments and how OpenBook leverages and extends OpenStack Celiometer.

Sanjay is Founder and CTO of Talligent, the Openstack billing and customer lifecycle company. He has been closely involved with the Openstack movement for the last 18 months, and has helped drive the development of the Ceilometer Openstack Telemetry and metering service.
