Title: Digitalt självbestämmande för utbildningssektorn i Sverige och Europa.
Description: I många europeiska länder finns stora forskningsinfrastrukturer
byggda på öppen källkod. I Sverige erbjuder SUNET inte bara internetanslutning
till de svenska universiteten utan också virtuella datacenter med både virtuella
servrar, lagring och containerhantering, filsynknings-tjänster och
beräkningskapacitet i form av JupyterHub som molntjänster. Allt detta är byggt
uteslutande på öppenkällkod. SUNET producerar också mycket egen källkod, som
också publiceras under fria licenser.
En viktig anledning till att dessa tjänster finns är ett erbjuda digitala
tjänster riktade mot högre utbildning och forskning för att säkerställa
oberoende och digtalt självbestämmande för utbildningssektorn. All
databehandling sker i SUNETs egna datacenter och erbjuder ett sätt för sveriges
universitet att bryta sig fri från amerikanska molntjänster utan att behöva
kompromissa med funktionalitet. Föredraget kommer att behandla dessa frågor med
särskilt avstamp i SUNET Drive, SUNETs filsynktjänst som bygger på Nextcloud.

Bio: Jag är från början en arkeolog som var tvungen att lära mig programmera för
att kunna genomföra statistiska och rumsliga analyser av stenåldersartefakter.
Det ena ledde till det andra och jag hamnade tillslut i IT-branschen och jag har
under de senaste 15 åren jobbat med drift och utveckling av stora linuxbaserade
IT-miljöer i media, finans och utbildningsbranschen.

Title: Agentic Coding Behind Closed Doors: Unleashing AI Dev Agents in
Air-Gapped and Isolated Environments.
Description: AI-powered coding agents are transforming software development, but
what happens when your security requirements say "no outside connections, ever"?
For organizations in defense, critical infrastructure, and the public sector,
the cloud-first defaults of most AI tooling are simply not an option.
In this talk, Dynamist AB shares practical experiences from deploying agentic
coding workflows in isolated environments built on open infrastructure:
self-hosted LLM serving, local code agents, and sandboxed execution, all without
sending a single token to an external API.
We'll discuss the real-world trade-offs: model selection in constrained
environments, maintaining developer experience without cloud AI, and how
isolation and reproducibility can turn AI code generation from a risk factor
into a trust advantage.
Speaker: Henrik Holmboe, Richard Holmboe, founders Dynamist.
Bio: Henrik Holmboe is the Founder and CEO of Dynamist, with over 20 years of
experience in system integration, system architecture, and information security.
He holds certifications including CISSP, VCP, and RHCE.
Henrik has worked extensively in high-security environments, serving as a system
and security architect for the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence
Materiel Administration (FMV), as well as other security-critical organizations.
With experience as CTO, CISO, and CEO, he combines deep technical expertise with
executive leadership. Henrik is passionate about secure system design,
compliance, automation, and bridging the gap between complex technology and
real-world operational needs.
Richard Holmboe is Co-Founder of Dynamist and has worked in the IT industry
since 2010, specializing in automation, integration, and security across
multi-platform and cloud environments. With a background in IT forensics, he
brings a strong security-first perspective to infrastructure and system design.
Richard has extensive experience across both Linux and Windows platforms, with
deep expertise in architecture, networking, operating systems, and secure
automation. He began his career working with Microsoft System Center and
Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) before transitioning to Linux-based solutions
focused on cloud, development, automation, and security.
Since 2019, Richard has worked with security solutions for the Swedish Armed
Forces.

Description: Things to do in order to sleep well while having your C code
running in thirty billion installations. A talk about what the curl project does
to minimize security risks: Security, Safety, Reproducibility, Vulnerability
handling and the processes and tooling around it. Can we avoid our own Jia Tan
and Heartbleed moments?
Speaker: Daniel Stenberg.
Bio: Daniel Stenberg is a Swedish Internet protocol expert and developer who has
participated in and worked with Open Source for thirty years. Perhaps most known
for being the founder and lead developer of the curl project, one of the world's
most widely used software components. He participates in protocol development
within the IETF and has authored books on curl, Open Source, HTTP/2, HTTP/3 and
is a frequent public speaker. Daniel is the president of the European Open
Source Academy and a three times medal receiver for his Open Source work.

Title: DBPilot: Your agentic database ops team.
Description: At Severalnines, we’ve spent the last 15 years building software to

Bio: Johan's technical background and interest are in high performance computing
as demonstrated by the work he did on main-memory clustered databases at
Ericsson as well as his research on parallel Java Virtual Machines at Trinity
College Dublin in Ireland.
Prior to co-founding and assuming the CTO role at Severalnines, Johan was
Principal Consultant and lead of the MySQL Clustering & High Availability
consulting group at MySQL / Sun Microsystems / Oracle, where he designed and
implemented large-scale and high-performing MySQL systems for key customers.
Johan has presented at USENIX and has been a regular speaker at MySQL User
Conferences, Percona Live as well as other high profile community gatherings
with popular talks and tutorials around architecting and tuning MySQL Clusters.

Title: Kubernetes and Nix, a duct-tape lovestory.
Description: Presentationen ger en introduktion till Nix och NixOS, förklarar
deras designprinciper och varför man väljer dem. Den beskriver på ett hög
nivå‑sätt hur Nix‑pakethanteraren fungerar och hur den skiljer sig från
traditionella OCI‑bilder och Containerfiles. Därefter visas hur nix‑csi kopplar
ihop Nix med Kubernetes för att kombinera fördelarna med deklarativ
systemhantering och container‑orchestration. En demo demonstrerar installation
av ett Kubernetes‑kluster på NixOS (med exempel på kod, eventuellt med kind
istället för kubeadm), följt av installation av nix‑csi och några
exempel‑arbetsbelastningar samt felsökning. Vi avslutar med lite praktiska råd
för att snabbt komma igång med Nix, NixOS och nix‑csi.
