Talk 3: Pull-based ingestion in OpenSearch
Speaker: Michael Froh, OpenSearch Project
Michael Froh is a principal engineer working full-time on OpenSearch core. He mostly reviews code, but also makes videos for the OpenSearch project YouTube channel.
Many OpenSearch users rely on some kind of streaming tool (like Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis) to buffer data before sending it to OpenSearch. What if OpenSearch shards could pull updates directly from the stream? Learn how to index your data more reliably and faster.
