You get “Search & Generate”—an evening at the intersection of OpenSearch and Generative AI. Whether you're trying to figure out what embeddings actually are, navigating the open-source search ecosystem, or building hybrid systems that answer with style and substance—this meetup is your jam.

This isn’t just another meetup. It’s search meets story. Index meets imagination. Expect a mix of hands-on insights, spicy takes, and good vibes. Come curious, leave caffeinated (or beerinated).

And of course - this is the first ever OpenSearch meetup in Israel. Other than great content, we will also leverage the event as a community building event to build and strenthen the OpenSearch community in Israel.

Fueled by a passionate global community and a mission to stay open and awesome, OpenSearch is steadily growing. This brief introduction will explore the global community, the Israeli chapter, and how you can take part.

6:15 PM – "OpenSearch for GenAI and RAG Use-Cases with real examples"
A quick introduction to OpenSearch followed by a discussion of how it is used in Machine Learning and GenAI use-cases. We will talk about how Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) works in practice using OpenSearch to deliver context-rich answers at scale; but actually even go beyond that.
