Open Seattle meets regularly on the fourth Wednesday of every month to discuss new and existing projects; any general member business; and to have some dedicated project work time.

MEETING AGENDA:

6:00 - 6:30: Eat food! Talk to awesome people who care about civic tech!

6:30 - 7:00: Open talks/pitches - your opportunity to hear what members are working on and how you can get involved, and/or to pitch or provide an update on your own project.

7:00 - 9:00: Open project time

PITCHING/GETTING INVOLVED IN A PROJECT:

Want to get involved in a project? Check out existing project ideas here: https://github.com/openseattle/project-ideas

Want to pitch a project at the meetup? Fill out this super-quick form to give us a few details about it: https://goo.gl/forms/cb2pYT8667WFc74F2

WHAT TO BRING:
You'll probably want a laptop (or be prepared to team up with someone that has a laptop, or work on projects that don't require a computer).

HOW TO CONNECT:
We plan things, ask/answer questions, and discuss projects using Slack.
Join the Open Seattle Slack channel here: http://openseattleslack.herokuapp.com/

GETTING TO SOCRATA:
Enter the main doors at 705 5th Ave S. If the doors are locked, somebody should be there to let you in. Head inside and to your left to find the elevator lobby; Socrata is on the 6th floor. Once you're up there, follow the signs to reach Socrata's cafeteria at the west end of the building.

If you arrive and the door is locked:
Leave a comment on this page or call the number on the sign to get let in!
