Icehouse Release Party!

Details

Dear all,

apologies for the slight deviation from the 2-months schedule, but we have now the occasion to meet once more (this time, thanks to Red Hat (http://redhat.com/openstack/) for sponsoring the venue) on the same day as the next Openstack major version, Icehouse, will be officially released (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Icehouse_Release_Schedule). We have a few speakers lined up for the night, and as always, food and drinks will be served; and as last time, if you want to have the stage for 5 minutes (time permitting, at the end of talks), please get in touch and bring your slides on a USB stick (no NTFS :))

As always, we'll start at 18:30, food will be served and we'll start around 19.30 with the speakers.

Alessandro Vozza (Red Hat): Intro, Meetup status and Icehouse new features

Bart van den Heuvel (Red Hat):

"OpenStack in real life through red glasses "

Real stories from the front lines of Openstack deployment in real, difficult, interesting environments.

Yvo Wiskerke (Cisco): "Cisco Networking and Openstack integration"

Admittedly, networking is the hardest part to grasp in Openstack. Yvo will shed some light on it and how Cisco thinks can sort it out properly.

If you have any suggestion or idea for a next meetup (or want to help sponsoring), please come forward! Would you like a more technical content, more user stories, real world implementations? Or perhaps a more general overview of Openstack in the enterprise? Let us know! You are in charge :)
