OpenStack Meetup Boston Management as a Service: Use Cases, OpenStack&Containers

Come on out and Meetup on July 20th at the Microsoft NERD Center! Please NOTE - we are back at the Microsoft NERD Center this month!

We have a GREAT session lined up - thanks to our friends at Rackspace. John Devereaux, Sr. OpenStack Solutions Architect at Rackspace, will explore critical considerations when evaluating OpenStack with containers and/or COEs, such as Kubernetes.

We will also discuss why the OpenStack Foundation at the 2017 Boston Summit created the new marketplace category of “remotely managed private cloud”, and why it’s the leading consumption model for OpenStack on or off-premise.

Reminders:

• A gourmet Pizza dinner and soft drinks will be provided courtesy of Rackspace starting ~ 6:15pm and we will kick off the session ~ 7:00pm.

• If you are interested in giving a Lightening Talk shoot us a note with a topic or just come to the session ready to speak!

• DON'T FORGET - for security reasons, the NERD center requires attendees to show a government issued photo ID in order to gain access into the building.

• Parking: Best option for parking is the NERD center parking garage which charges a flat rate after 4pm.
