Dear Stackers,
We are happy to announce the 15th Swiss OpenStack User Group Meetup to be held on the 21st of March 2017.
Special thanks to our friends and colleagues at Rackspace who offered to host the meetup at their premises.
The agenda for the meetup is as follows:
Speaker: Giuseppe Paterno
Title: Workloads at Ebay
Summary: Shares the experience in ebay, a compelling story on the workload stuffs rather than ostack itself (it’s extremely high performance stuff, but nothing “difficult”) but based on ostack.
Speaker: Geoff Higginbottom
Title: Learn how to use Nagios and StackStorm to automate the recovery of OpenStack services.
Summary: Geoff will explain why and how he created an automated OpenStack deployment using Vagrant and Ansible to deploy and configure the environment. Nagios and StackStorm are also deployed and are used to monitor and auto heal the installation. A live demo will show the automatic recovery of services following a failure. All materials will be made available after the talk enabling the re-creation of the test environment.
There'll be an apero after the talks sponsored by the folks at Rackspace.
