Spring 2018 meet

Hello, time to have good time again and chat OpenStack topics!

OpenStack Finland has grown to be list of organisations already running it in production, and providing public clouds. Nowadays questions are often how to maintain it, keep updating, and most importantly of all, how to get customers to grow your cloud!

So the topics are this time around a user case. This time Elisa sponsored us with the venue, and a presentation. They've done lot of cool stuff during their journey around OpenStack, both internally and externally. Let's hear their view.

Then we can have a bit about operating it, e.g. have a look into how OpenStack is containerised from internals, and what does it mean for operations. Perhaps a word about containers, Kubernetes and networking boost with VXLANs.

The third presenter Nokia opens up about their experiences running internal OpenStack clouds for thousands of R&D users using thousands of nodes. I bet this is one of the biggest OpenStack environments in Nordics!

Also, OpenStack summit will be soon in Vancouver, this is good moment to network with the rest of Finns going there! Did I mention over beer...? :)
