E2E Smart City Sample in the Edge and Cloud

TOPIC
The topic will introduce the E2E Smart City Sample in the Edge and cloud.
-Aspects of smart city sensing, analytics and management features such as Camera Provisioning/Camera Discovery/Recording/Smart Upload and Archive and UI.

• Two scenarios (Smart-City traffic and stadium ) will be shown to demonstrate how to employ the docker-based software stacks to deploy in the edge and cloud.The traffic scenario measures vehicle/pedestrian flow for planning purposes. The stadium scenario focuses on different access control techniques, including entrance people counting, service-point queue counting, and stadium seating zone crowd counting.

Xintian Wu is a Sr. Software Architect in the Data Center Group at Intel. He has been working on software development and solution design of media creation and delivery, and large scale computing solutions for the past 19 years. Xintian holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
