Open Stage - LGBTIQ+ Drama and Storytelling

Open Stage is a relaxed and welcoming LGBTQ+ drama and storytelling group where you can connect with others, get creative and have some fun.

Through playful drama games, improvisation, storytelling and creative exercises, we explore characters, ideas and stories together. Sessions are friendly and informal, with an emphasis on connection, creativity and self-expression rather than performance.

No acting or drama experience is needed. You can take part at your own pace, and there’s no pressure to perform or be anything other than yourself.

Each session is a little different and is shaped by the people in the room.

Open Stage is facilitated by volunteers and is open to LGBTQ+ adults of all backgrounds and levels of experience.

Booking through Meetup is encouraged as it helps us get an idea of numbers and plan the session, but drop-ins are always welcome.
