With the recent approval of the Ottawa ODL, we will be discussing the recent efforts to add the City of Ottawa's tree dataset to OpenStreetMap.

The dataset provided has all the common names for the species of tree (eg. Colorado Spruce). A comprehensive guide was created to track the import proposal.
