#Editathon - King County Address Import Training Day 2

We started with importing addresses for Seattle, now we are going to finish up the remainder of King County. This two day event will teach you how to edit using JOSM and how to import addresses into OSM. Some of the topics we will cover are:

• How to configure JOSM

• Exploring available backgrounds

• How to add points of interest in JOSM

• Working with layers in JOSM

• Merging new data with existing data

• Validating

You will need to bring a laptop for this event. Please preinstall JOSM, by following the instructions at http://josm.openstreetmap.de/. (http://josm.openstreetmap.de/) If you have trouble installing JOSM, help will be available at the event.

Address data has been broken down into small chunks for easy importing. We do need help setting up the OSM Tasking Manager. If interested, please leave a comment to this meetup.
