Our meetup group has really been on a growth spurt. So if you are a new member or just want to learn how to import, this is the place to come. While we will be teaching the import process and how to edit using the more advanced editor, JOSM, we will still teach basic editing. Just using JOSM.
You will need a laptop computer to participate. Ideally install JOSM before the meeting. Instruction can be found on the JOSM Homepage. (https://josm.openstreetmap.de/)
For those interested, we will gather after the Meetup at a local pub or some other gathering spot. If you are familiar with the area, we could use some good suggestions.
I'd also like to welcome all of the new members. We have grown to over 270 members, which makes us one of the largest OSM Meetup Group in the US. I hope you find us a fun place to hangout. We welcome suggestions on where to hold mapping parties and mappy hours.
