Bainbridge Mapping Party

It's been a while since we've headed out-of-town to map!

Join us to map Winslow, the small downtown area on Bainbridge Island. We'll be meeting at the Seattle-side ferry terminal (Pier 52) and walking onto the 10:35am ferry for the short ride over to Bainbridge Island.

One $8.20 ferry ticket will get you both there and back. Since it's Sunday, street parking will be free (look for spots early, or take the bus). Don't be late!

We'll be using Field Papers to map the main street's sidewalks and businesses on paper for a couple of hours. For those of you willing to bring your laptops, we'll hang out in a cafe afterwards, get some food, and try scanning/entering some of the data.

As Northwesterners who don't melt, we're still planning to go even if there's a little rain, but might scale things back a bit. Hope to see you there!
