Missing Maps for Red Cross Month (aka March)!

Every year since World War II, each president has designated March as Red Cross Month. It's supposed to still be raining this Saturday (I checked!) -- if you have an hour or two, please come join us as we help the Red Cross/Missing Maps map the world's most vulnerable areas!

This month we'll be at a new location on the South end of Seattle. Hope to see you there!

What Missing Maps is: To do their work, first responders (like the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders) need maps of both buildings and roads, to know where people are, and how to get to them. However, most of the world isn't mapped! To help out, we'll look at aerial photos and will draw in the roads and building outlines that we see.

No experience is necessary! We’ll do a quick tutorial. All you need to bring is a laptop (though a charger and mouse are also suggested).

Space is limited, so please officially register with the American Red Cross at the following link so we can get an accurate headcount. (It's only a one-page form, so once you press 'Submit', you're registered!)
