Photo Mapping using OpenStreetCam
Details
Happy Autumn! The days are shorter, cooler and wetter, but we're still finding fun ways to map. Join us for a bit to hang out indoors and do some virtual urban exploring!
Paul and I recently drove around Seattle, taking photos with our smartphones (hands-free) using OpenStreetCam, a free/open app for creating street-level imagery. Afterwards, those photos can be used to add info to OSM!
We'll be mapping using those photos, and showing you how to install and use OpenStreetCam yourself. Newcomers welcome! Bring your phones, a laptop and a mouse!
