Missing Maps Mapathon, MLK Weekend of Service 2018

Happy 2018! The MLK Weekend of Service is almost here! To honor Dr. King’s life and legacy of service, OSM Seattle and the American Red Cross are hosting our 3rd annual service event at the University of Washington’s Anderson Hall. Please join us for an hour or two and help make it another great success!

When disasters happen, the Red Cross uses OpenStreetMap maps and data to deliver aid and supplies to people who need help. We make those maps possible by looking at aerial photos, and tracing roads and buildings that we see.

No experience is necessary, and all you need to bring is a laptop (though a charger and mouse are really nice to have)!
