Let's Explore Seattle: Map Crawl Blitz via Light Rail
Details
Let's get outside and enjoy the recent sunny weather while exploring our city, using Seattle's light rail to get around!
Our light rail system starts at Husky Stadium, runs through Capitol Hill, Downtown, and past the stadiums, then stops in five neighborhoods in southeast Seattle on its way to the airport. We'll be focusing on just those five neighborhood stops and what's immediately around them!
Here's the idea: We'll meet at the Beacon Hill library, which is next to the light rail station. We'll briefly map around the station, then take the train to the Mount Baker station, map, take the train to the Othello station, map, take the train to Columbia City, map, then end up at the Rainier Beach library, near its light rail station, at about 1pm.
If you don't have an ORCA pass, Sound Transit Link Light Rail one-day passes can be purchased in advance via the Transit GO Ticket app. Hope to see you there!
