Mapping Seattle: The Arboretum
Details
Come out and enjoy some beautiful Fall colors with us! We'll be exploring (and mapping) the Washington Park Arboretum, a 230-acre park which includes more than 40,000 plants from around the world! It's a great excuse to get outside, without going very far at all.
Much of the park's trail network has already been mapped; for those trails, we'll just be verifying what's already on the maps, and noting what's changed. There's also been some recent construction, so we'll be updating those sections as well.
We'll meet up inside the Graham Visitors Center at the northern end, where there is some parking. We should have paper maps to work from, but also bring your mobile devices! Be prepared for some walking in Fall Seattle weather -- it's been cool and gray lately. See you there!
