It’s Geography Awareness Week! Help celebrate by making at least one edit to the map this week. Be sure to add #osmgeoweek2018 #osmseattle to your changesets!
Started by National Geographic, and made official by a presidential proclamation more than 30 years ago, Geography Awareness Week is meant to help us remember how important place is in all of our lives.
One way to contribute is to log into your OSM account, zoom into a neighborhood you know well, notice a cafe or restaurant that’s missing, and add it!
If you’d like to talk OSM and maps, a few of us will be meeting up for a late happy hour Wednesday evening; but since this meetup is really the entire week, feel free to RSVP yes even if you just participate from home. Happy mapping!
