Mapping Seattle: Capitol Hill

Capitol Hill is a unique and interesting neighborhood -- it's known for its nightlife, diversity and for just being hip. Broadway, its main street, has been mapped in OSM by some diligent mappers, but like everywhere else in Seattle it's changing rapidly and could use an update.

Join us as we head outside this month and explore -- no doubt there will be plenty of interesting shops and sights to see along the way. We'll meet when the library opens just long enough to get our bearings, and then head out, so don't run too late.

It has plenty of bus transit and Link Light Rail options. Street parking is notoriously tough here, but may be better in the late morning. The weather's been really great lately, but Spring in Seattle is fickle so plan accordingly!

Newcomers are welcome! We'll likely break up into small groups to cover multiple directions. Bring a charged mobile device if you'd like to learn some mobile editing tips, but you can just bring yourself if you like.
