About the workshop

Enter the world of Arduino!
Have you ever wanted to build an interactive lamp, a depressed shoe shelf or a physical character to control your computer games? Or any other interactive project?

In this workshop for beginners we'll introduce you to and show the basics of Arduino, an open-source single-board microcontroller designed to make the process of using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible.

In other words, make your own interactive prototype and play with it!

Arduino has endless possibilities, it's just to get started and that's what we want to help you with!

We have a few (around 6) Arduinos to lend you, but we encourage you to get your own to be able to continue exploring after the workshop. If you want to, you can work in teams of two during the workshop to get started.

We recommend you to buy an Arduino for this workshop in order to learn. We provided you with different options. When you have your Arduino you should prepare by downloading and install the coding software Processing (http://processing.org/) on your computer.

About the event

This course requires no previous knowledge of Arduino and is suitable for beginners of any programming language/microcontroller.
