## Full Agenda:

👉 Logging 2.0- Using OTel for enhanced observability | Konstantin Ostrovsky, Torq

In this session, I will introduce you to how we utilize OpenTelemetry at Torq.

We operate on GCP and take advantage of various integrations that GCP offers with OpenTelemetry. Since the beginning, we have heavily relied on OpenTelemetry and structured our product around it. I will explain why we opted for OpenTelemetry instead of traditional logging and highlight the different ways in which we simplify its usage for our engineers.

Additionally, I will discuss how our engineers leverage OpenTelemetry to effectively troubleshoot production issues.

👉 OpenTelemetry code profiling: What to expect | by Michael Haberman, Aspecto

Profiling has emerged as the fourth signal in OpenTelemetry, joining traces, metrics, and logs, to provide comprehensive visibility into code performance at scale.

In this session, you will learn the concept of profiling and its significance within the OpenTelemetry ecosystem. By capturing data during code execution, such as function call frequency, duration, CPU time, and memory usage, profiling enables us to analyze and optimize their programs effectively.

The session highlights the value it brings to the future of OpenTelemetry and offers a glimpse into the evolving landscape of OpenTelemetry code profiling.

You will leave this session with a deeper understanding of profiling’s potential impact on application performance, the emerging opportunities for code optimization, and its effect on the observability ecosystem.

👉 Gateway to OpenTelemetry and APISec by Nimrod Shlagman, Outshift by Cisco
