Open Data Book Club - Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant Data

Details
On Thursday, November 24th, Toronto will hold its SEVENTEENTH Open Data Book Club (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DiBSloGRl0&feature=youtu.be&t=3h15m34s)... an idea borrowed from Open Data Ottawa (https://youtu.be/5DiBSloGRl0?t=3h15m36s).
This concept is the same as a regular book club, but instead of discussing books, we discuss an Open Data Set from either the Municipal, Provincial, or Federal levels of government.
This month, we are looking at the Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant Data (http://otf.ca/open). For those who are not familiar, the OTF is an agency of the Government of Ontario and one of Canada's largest granting foundations. With a budget of over $136 million, the OTF funds ~1000 projects every year.
The published data includes all approved grants dating back to 1999. Please note that the OTF funding philosophy changed in 2015.
Luckily, we will have someone from the OTF in attendance to listen to your feedback and to provide context. Feel free to contact him if you have any questions or comments about the Open Data sets, or the change in funding philosophy.
