OpenUK London #18: Can Open Source Be a Business?

Details
Tuesday 15th October is our 18th OpenUK London community meetup. This month we are discussing the dichotomy of can open source even be a business? Following last month's Economics of Open Source report, we will dive into and discuss the results and talk about how you can get the most out of your most often free open source contributions or how could it be a business?
We are kicking off a bit later this month but you can check in downstairs from 645.
7:00pm: Arrive, grab a bev, a slice and a chat. Scope out our swag table (bring pieces to contribute or trade!)
7:15 pm: Panel including Lee Wright, Liam Crilly, Amanda Brock, Matt Barker and Paula Kennedy, moderated by Jennifer Riggins
Followed by an interactive fishbowl: five seats at the front of the room, with one always empty. If a fifth sits down, one of the others gets up. A continuous discussion that flows around a topic. Anyone is welcome to jump right into the "bowl" at any time with questions, topics or responses.
8:30-8:45 pm: Cleanup and see-ya-next-time.
Please remember to bring your I.D. if you are attending in person, as it is required to access the venue. Note the venue does not permit e-scooters or bicycles within the building.
Thank you to our sponsors Avanade for providing this great space and yummy pizza!
