Opera Together is a Bath-based opera meetup group for people who enjoy opera and sometimes attend on their own.
Opera Together is for people who love opera and would like to share the experience with others in a relaxed, low-pressure way.
Many of us enjoy opera but don’t always have someone to go with. This group exists to make it easier to attend performances together — whether that means sitting nearby, meeting for a drink in the interval, or simply knowing there are others doing the same.
There is no expectation to socialise, no requirement to attend every event, and no pressure to make instant friendships. Some people come mainly for the opera, others enjoy the conversation too — both are equally welcome.
Events may include:
- Attending opera performances together
- Optional interval or pre-show meet-ups
- Occasional talks or introductions for context
- Come on your own. Enjoy the opera together.
