This Opera Together event is for people who enjoy opera and would like to attend alongside others, whether or not they usually come on their own.

We will be attending Bath Opera’s production of Carmen at the Roper Theatre. The performance starts at 7.00pm (doors open 6.15pm), includes a 20-minute interval, and finishes at around 9.45pm.

A host will be available in the foyer before the performance to welcome Opera Together attendees and answer any questions. Where possible, seating will be near one another.

A small block of 10 seats has been allocated for Opera Together, so attendees can sit together if they wish. Tickets for these seats are available directly via the organiser.

If you’ve already bought a ticket independently, you’re very welcome to join us. Simply come to the Opera Together welcome area in the foyer before the performance.

During the interval, there will be a designated Opera Together table area in the bar for anyone who’d like to pause together for a drink and a chat — entirely optional.

There’s no pressure to socialise and no expectation beyond enjoying Carmen.

Parking is available on site and in the surrounding area.
