Operation Code Meetup at Oracle

• What we'll do:
You're invited to our Operation Code Meetup, located at and hosted by Oracle in Seattle! The theme of this meetup is "Diversity and Inclusion". Operation Code's CTO Nell Shamrell-Harrington will be introducing our incredible speakers from Oracle. Our speaker will be sharing their experiences and career and technical insights that will help give our guests the edge in building their careers.

• About our speakers:
-Oracle's VP of Cloud Infrastructure, Craig Kelly is a Marine veteran who has extensive experience in engineering, DevOps, and leadership roles at Amazon, Oracle and several other tech companies.

-Oracle's Director of Cloud Infrastructure, Bo English-Wiczling has extensive experience as a business leader, DevOps at Oracle, Amazon, Best Buy, and Target along with extensive experience in web development.

• Veteran Organizations:
-We'll spotlight our supporting Veteran Service Organizations: The Mission Continues and Travis Manion Foundation, who are helping veterans in many different ways.

• Who else will be there?:
-We'll have mentors and guests coming from Chef Software, Microsoft, Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, and many more!

• What's the format of the meetup?

• From 6pm to 6:30pm, we'll eat, drink, and build our connections through informal networking with mentors, developers, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
• 6:30pm to 8pm, we'll hear from our esteemed speakers and guests.
• 8pm to 9pm, an opportunity for guests to build new connections with other guests, mentors, and presenters.

• Who's this for?

• Our meetups are geared towards: software/systems engineers, new developers, technical mentors with experience in the tech industry, career mentors with experience in leadership, entrepreneurs, and those who are interested in expanding their perspectives.
• We are an inclusive community and we invite all veterans and non-veterans to come to share, listen, and learn.
• Those interested in developing careers in tech
• Experienced developers and / or leaders in software industry to share experiences and mentor others.
