Last Operation Code Meetup of 2019 at Zillow

What we'll do:
• You're invited to our last 2019 Operation Code Meetup located at and hosted by Zillow in Seattle, WA! Our speakers will be sharing their experiences and career and technical insights into software engineering that will help our guests to have the edge in building their careers.

Presenters:
• Amazon Software Engineer (SDE2) Michael Terada is an Army combat veteran. Michael is a senior Operation Code mentor who has helped mentor many Operation Code members learn the skills to earn software engineering roles.
• Microsoft Program Manager (PM) Kevin Henry is an Army combat veteran. Kevin has helped lead and volunteer with non-profits such as Team Red White and Blue (RWB), USO Pathfinder, FourBlock, Travis Manion Foundation, and Operation Code. Kevin's mentorship has helped both veterans and their spouses earn leadership roles at Microsoft and others.

Veteran Organizations:
• We'll spotlight our supporting Veteran Service Organizations: FourBlock, USO, The Mission Continues and Travis Manion Foundation, who are helping veterans and serving the community in many different ways.

Who else will be there?:
• We'll have mentors and guests coming from Amazon, Zillow, Capital One, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, T-Mobile, and many more!

What's the format of the Meetup?
• From 6pm to 6:30pm, we'll eat, drink, and build our connections through informal networking with mentors, developers, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
• 6:30pm to 7:30pm, we'll hear from our esteemed speakers and guests.
• 7:30pm to 8:30pm, an opportunity for guests to build new connections with other guests, mentors, and presenters.

Who's this for?
• Our Meetups are geared towards: technologists, software/systems engineers, students, managers, developers, technical mentors with experience in the tech industry, career mentors with experience in leadership, and those who are interested in expanding their perspectives.
• We are an inclusive community and we invite all veterans and non-veterans to come to share, listen, and learn.
• Those interested in developing careers in tech
• Experienced developers and / or leaders in software industry to share experiences and mentor others.
