Our first screening of 2026 may be in black and white, but don't let that scare you off: La Haine (1995) is an absolute classic and one of those must-see-at-least-once-in-your-life movies.

In La Haine, director Matheiu Kassovitz 🇨🇵 takes us into the banlieue of 1990's Paris. We feel the rising tensions in a pressure-cooker environment of classicism, racism, and the snowball effect of acts of violence.

The movie has an impressive list of awards - not in the least the Best Director 🥇 award at Cannes, and Best Film and Best Editing at the César Awards 🏆

We hope to see many of you there!
